Last year’s Amazon Prime Day was characterized by a certain degree of disappointment. It was touted as a rival to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. but if the meme examples below are anything to go by, those Black Friday comparisons aren’t exactly what we’d call accurate.

However, this year Amazon has promised more offerings, higher inventory and better deals on al sorts of electronics and among them more than a couple of awesome 4K ultra HD TV and other electronic’s products Here is a more detailed look and further down, below Spongebob and the Christmas tree, you’ll find some of the great deal’s we know of so far.

First off the bat and most enticingly, we have a couple of superb deals on Samsung’s stunning new 2016 4K ultra HD HDR curved TVs. First, Amazon is offering the new 2016 Samsung UN55KU6600 4k Smart LED Curved TV for a whopping 48% off regular price of $1,247.99. This means that with this Prime Day Amazon deal, the KU6600 is now retailing for a limited time for just $649.99. This is indeed one stunningly good price for a piece of high-level Samsung 4K HDR display technology. The KU6600 isn’t quite on the same level as the 2016 flagship SUHD TVs from the brand but it’s one of the better non SUHD models from one truly excellent brand and delivers a whole roster of superb display specs and Samsung’s excellent display technology almost across the board. In essence, The KU6600 is the curved version of the KU6300 – which we have reviewed in extensive detail right here.

And speaking of the KU6300 itself (this model is more like the flat screen version of the KU6600) it’s also apparently on sale for a great discount for this 2016 Prime Day. Samsung is offering this fine 4K television in its 55 inch form on sale for a stunningly low bargain price of just $549.99 for the finely-sized 55 inch model. In comparison to the more regular retail price of around $800, this special discount has a great deal of value to offer would-be owners of the generally excellent KU6300 mid-range 4K HDR TV with Samsung’s superb smart TV platform, fantastic color and resolution technologies and the benefits of Samsung HDR specs to boot.

Finally, for 4K TV deals, there is also this extremely affordable offer from Hisense, allowing you to get your hands on a 4K UHD TV at just about the lowest price we’ve yet seen for UHD resolution. Amazon is selling a Hisense 43H7C2 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2016 Model) for an amazingly low price of $299.99. No, this model isn’t quite on the same level as the Samsung 4K HDR 2016 KU-Series TVs we mention above but it does still offer 3840 x 2160 pixels of 4K resolution and the core connectivity and smart content streaming essentials of the 4K home entertainment experience. In other words, as a truly affordable starter introduction to 4K TV technology, the 43H7C2’s price is basically unbeatable.

So the 6600 is exactly the same as the UN55KU6500, right? Except that Amazon white labeled it and changed the stand because of the deep discount.

Do you know if there’s anything different about the 6600 compared to the 6500?

Hey there Ken, yes, in essence the KU660 is the same TV as the KU6300 and the KU6500. The main difference between the KU6500 and the KU6300 is the curvature of the 6500 but aside from that all three TVs are virtually identical in all key specs.

I haven’t seen the 6300 available yet today… did I miss it? did it not ever go on sale? Help!

Hey there Alex, either the sales offer expired or the TV was oddly taken down from being a sales item yesterday. However, even at its normal retail price of just under $800, this is a nicely priced 4K TV with some very decent specs.
