Starting with the iPhone 6S and 6S+ smartphones from late 2015, Apple has been giving their devices some very impressive photo and video specs in their cameras and this obviously enough applies to an even more impressively powerful degree with the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus phones. In fact, based on what we’re seeing, we’d even argue that the new phone offers a level of 4K video and still photo recording quality comparable to that of a number of more affordable stand-alone ultra HD cameras.

However, their amazing photo shooting chops aside, it’s easy to dismiss the 4K video recording of these phones for the genuinely amazing technology that it really is when used well. Even the 2015 iPhone 6S+ was used to record documentaries and professional NYC fashion shoots in ultra HD resolution and the new 7 models can do all of this just fine but also take it to a new level thanks to features like dual camera lens recording, a 2x zoom and some very robust low-light shooting capacity.

Given all of these technologies and the world of 4K video recording fans just waiting to try out the chops of their new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models since their release nearly 2 weeks ago, it’s no wonder that a lot of videographers have used their own models to put out some very stunning 4K recordings which showcase more than any marketing campaign or specs sheet can just how well the new phones deliver the goods on 4K.

Below is a whole collection of such videos starting with a sample video put up by the people of the website EverythingApplePro. The demo footage not only really does a great job of showing off the new iPhone 7 Plus model’s capacity for grabbing UHD video, it also demonstrates just how much better the new Apple phone handles low light recording than the iPhone 6S Plus did. It seems that Apple’s boasting about these low light sensitivity specs in their latest phone were much more than just promotional hype.

Now, if you want an even larger taste of what the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus models can do, also check out these other pieces of footage below:

This video in particular demonstrates how well the camera on the 7 Pus phone handles nearly cinematic shooting

And this video gives you a good look at that much vaunted 2X zoom in the new phone models.
