These Are Forza Motorsport 7’s 4K Gaming PC System Requirements & Supported Peripherals

During Xbox’s live presentation at GamesCom 2017, Turn 10 Studios revealed the specifications for Forza Motorsport 7 for Windows 10 PCs, and a massive list of more than 30 supported peripherals to play the game. It was also announced that for the first time ever, fans will be able to play the Forza Motorsport 7 demo on Windows 10 PCs prior its release.

Forza Motorsport 7 looked spectacular when it was presented at E3 2017. The title has been developed with native 4K resolution and unlocked framerates for high-end Windows 10 PCs. It comes with Xbox Play Anywhere (which means you can play FM7 across PC and Xbox One platforms), and also has full support for multiple monitors, 21:9 displays and numerous accessory devices and controllers (shown below).

One thing to keep in mind though, if you want to run FM7 at the highest level of graphics you are going to need a serious hardware rig to squeeze all the possible 4K HDR glory out of the game. As you can see below, we’re talking here about Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 GPUs. However, as the 4K announce trailer here shows, playing the game with those GPUs and settings create one heck of a visual experience if you have a 4K HDR TV or high end 4K HDR monitor to go with your PC rig.

Here are the system requirements for Windows 10 PCs running Forza Motorsport 7:

Low settings (720p, 30 fps):

CPU: Intel Core i5-750 2.67GHz or AMD FX-6300

GPU: Nvidia GT 740/GTX 650 or AMD R7 250X with 2GB RAM

Recommended settings  (HD 60 fps)

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz or AMD FX-8350

GPU: Nvidia GTX 670/GTX 1050 or AMD RX 560 with 4GB RAM

Ideal settings (Ultra) (4K UHD, 60 fps)

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4GHz or AMD Ryzen 7

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 or AMD RX Vega 64 with 8GB RAM

Ultrabook settings (Mobile) (720p, 30 fps)

CPU: Core i5-6200U or better

GPU: Intel HD 520 (integrated) or better

Forza 7 will be available in three editions: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate, which come packaged as follows:

The Standard Edition of Forza 7 includes the video game only. Those who get the Deluxe Edition will receive the Day One Car Pack, VIP membership and two custom pieces of driver gear. The Ultimate Edition comes with the Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass, the Day One Car Pack, VIP membership and two custom driver gear items. Additionally, all digital pre-orders for all editions receive the Hoonigan car pack for free in Forza Horizon 3 and in Forza Motorsport 7.

You can play Forza MotorSport 7 using any of your Xbox One controllers—and even Sony’s DualShock 4 controller—but using a racing wheel is a lot more fun and goes better with the ultra-realistic graphics of this new racing title, especially in ultra HD resolution.
