PC Gaming is an Awesome Reason for Buying a 4K TV

If you’re a major fan of PC gaming, then that’s probably one of the best reasons you can have for getting your hands on a new Ultra HD 4K TV. While consoles do great when connected to 4K TV sets, its PC gaming that definitely sees an incredible boost from being joined with a UHD TV.

While you could also go for a gaming PC that has a built-in 4K screen, this might produce some problems with rendering the 4K graphics at the right speeds and smoothness but with a 4K TV, with its own powerful built-in processing systems, the 4K rendering problems of gaming in the resolution can be made to disappear.

Furthermore, some of the latest, reasonably sized 4K TV sets from major brands are only a bit more expensive than 4K PC screens but also offer all of the massively expanded benefits that come with them being TVs and not just display screens.

Vizio’s smallest 4K TV model, for example, comes with a 50 inch screen and all the smart TV features and connectivity options of the best UHD TVs on the market but at $999 costs just a couple of hundred dollars more than your average 4K PC monitor which offers an average screen size of just 28 to 30 inches.

According to recent reviews of games like “Project CARS” being played in full 4K resolution on LG’s 4K OLED TVs, the verdict of those who’ve taken the gameplay for a test drive is that the experience is simply beautiful; something so incredibly above the normal for PC gaming that it can trigger all kinds of irrational purchasing decisions.

The overall experience of trying a 4K-friendly PC game out on a large 4K Ultra HD screen is described as being something that no photo can do justice to and that the visuals are some of the most spectacular any gamer could possibly hope to see with any current technology, according to this recent review by one gaming fan who got to try out “Project CARS” on an LG OLED 4K TV.

In fact, the gaming angle is such a strong reason to take 4K seriously enough for a TV purchase that LG itself –who manufactures the most advanced (and expensive) 4K Ultra HD TVs on the market today– is pushing it as a reason for why consumers should pick up one of its dozen new UHD TV models that are being released between October and Christmas.

According to both LG and other professional gaming medium reviewers, the 4K TV (though not necessarily LGs own models) is the perfect medium in which to rely appreciate all the finer details of the best fast action games on the market today.

Furthermore, PC gaming machines make for the perfect 4K play devices when connected to an Ultra HD TV, whose own internal processing power will take up a lot of the work that the PC would normally have to handle alone if it were simply attached to a 4K display monitor.

Finally, for PC gamers who love the idea of trying their favorite new games on the large screen size of a complete Ultra HD TV, there’s no need to go out and buy an LG or Sony model 4K TV, costing themselves several thousand dollars. The already mentioned Vizio P-Series UHD sets are just as good but much more affordable.
