“No Man’s Sky” looks absolutely stunning in 4K ultra HD for its PC release

The hot and popular new game “No Man’s Sky” has garnered plenty of attention for the sheer spectacle and beauty of its haunting Sci Fi space opera scenery  and even when enjoyed on a regular PlayStation 4 at 1080p Full HD resolution, the game is downright stunning to behold but none of this really compares to just how stunning those same visuals are when ramped right up to 4K ultra HD resolution on their details and enjoyed on a 4K PC, while using a 4K TV as your display monitor if possible.

As of August 12th, “No Man’s Sky”has been available for PC gamers and naturally enough for this era of growing support for 4K graphic details in all new release PC games, NMS also offers the extra 4K pixels if your home gaming rig can handle them.

To further promote these spectacular 4K aspects of No Man’s Sky, Nvidia has released a couple of screens which depict all of the incredible in-game graphics tweaking which is possible for No Man’s Sky’s PC version. Some of the adjustments include anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, field-of-view adjustments for wider peripheral vision and of course, the ability to crank up details to way beyond the pixel count possible for this game in its PlayStation 4 version for now.

The new 4K PC release also highlights the kind of in-game visuals that buyers of the soon-to-arrive Sony PlayStation Neo can expect when the 4K-capable TV gaming console hits shelves in the next couple months (rumors have it that it’s release date is some tie in September).

On the other hand while many 4K PCs today can handle 4K gaming performance at high frame rates for games like No Man’s Sky due to the availability of performance 4K GPUs like the Nvidia GTX 1080 Pascal card or 2016 Titan X Pascal GPU, The Sony PS Neo is likely to have a GPU which could possibly struggle quite a bit with high frame-rate 4K gaming and in fact be more of a 1440p gaming console despite Sony’s claims of 4K prowess.

In any case, for those of you who love 4K PC gaming and have a GPU and display with the right chops for handling it, here are several screenshot glimpses of what No Man’s Sky offers in stunning UHD imagery during actual gaming.

Game looks amazing, thanks for the info.

Typo: fourth paragraph ” (rumors have it that it’s release date is some tie in September).” should be “TIME” instead of “TIE”.
