We recently talked about how the U.S based VOD service NanoTech Entertainment had recently started expanding and releasing its fairly wide selection of 4K movies, TV shows and other content for select audiences and select TV brands based on agreement.

The last agreement was with TV maker Sony but now the VOD service provider is going to also be making sure that its selection of 4K content is available for Vizio’s new and exciting line of P-Series of 4K TVs.

The new Vizio P-Series TVs will include the UltraFlix 4K Network app and through it, users of the TVs will be able to access NanoTech’s 400+ hours of streaming Ultra HD content.

The new TVs from Vizio, which include models ranging from 50 to 70 inches in size, have made enormous waves in the entertainment tech world leading up to their very recent launch because of their extreme affordability for 4K TVs. The cheapest, the 50 inch model, costs only $999 USD and even the large 70 inch model that the company has released retails for just $2,499 dollars.

Despite these low prices, Vizio’s new 4K sets are packed with the latest Smart TV and full connectivity features that include HEVC and compliance with HDCP. 2.2. The P-Series is also the winner of the 2014 Consumer Electronics Shows Editor’s Choice awards for their overall features, quality and excellent prices in comparison to all other high end 4K TVs.

Vizio’s new 4K Line of P-Series TVs is causing a serious dent in elevated Ultra HD TV pricing

NanoTech Entertainment, which is already considered something of a pioneer in the creation of 4K streaming offers for U.S consumers, has announced that its full library of 4K “UltraFlix” selections has been selected by Vizio, Inc to be included as an option on all of their P-Series 4K TVS.

The UltraFlix 4K streaming service will become available on the TVs later this year as part of the agreement between the two companies and will be available through the Vizio Internet Apps Plus Smart TV platform on the TVs.

Thanks to the UltraFlix service, users will be able to browse and stream more than 400 hours of 4K video content that includes 40 “made-for-IMAX” theatrical movie titles, a number of action, thriller, comedy, drama and family movies, numerous excellent documentaries that are perfect for 4K viewing and a selection of TV shows, extreme sports and concert videos that also lend themselves really well to 4K Ultra HD.

There will also be 100 hours of free content included with the UltraFlix App on the Vizio TVs.

The Vizio P-Series TVs do deliver some stunningly rich picture performance that should make UltraFlix’s content all the more enticing. The TVs feature full-array LED Backlighting with local dimming divided into up to 72 Active LED zones on the screen (instead of just edge lit backlighting). The P-Series also delivers 802.11ac dual-band WiFi for better streaming quality, Vizio’s V6 six-core internal processor that offers a quad core GPU and dual core CPU capacity for some truly powerful performance and speed when it comes to rendering 4K video and the accompanying Smart TV interface even at their most demanding.

According to Aaron Taylor, NanoTech’s Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, “Working with Vizio to deliver our ever-expanding library of 4K content to the mass market is exactly what the market needs to push 4K over the top.” Taylor also explained that the P-Series TVs will provide full native support for the UltrFlix Ultra HD content, which will guarantee content that’s crystal clear and extremely detailed.
