Meet ViewSonic’s New 27-Inch 4K UHD HDR10 Monitor, The VP2785-4k

The manufacturer and provider of visual technology, ViewSonic, has added a new 27-inch 4k UHD monitor to its award-winning VP series, the VP2785-4K.
The new high-performance screen is aimed to advanced users who seek maximum fidelity for use with color-critical applications, like pro photo editing, graphic design, video editing and other specialized precision tasks, but it is also a great option for generally demanding PC users looking for some very high graphics performance and the sharpness that comes with UHD resolution.
ViewSonic’s VP2785-4K features a 27-inch LED display with Ultra HD 3840×2160 resolution capable of displaying more than 8.29 million pixels and some very high pixel density. The high-end monitor also offers a wide color gamut that covers 99% percent of Adobe RGB and 98% percent of DCI-P3 colors. This feature alongside its capacity to decode HDR10 (High Dynamic Range) video signals, provides higher levels of clarity and renders brighter, more vivid and realistic colors, making this monitor ideal for MacBook work stations or environments that need reliable color representation.
Since the ViewSonic VP2785-4K is oriented for professional users who have to work with applications where color accuracy is a top priority, the monitor’s built-in backlight can stabilize color in just three minutes according to ViewSonic, maintaining Adobe RGB and sRGB brightness stability for longer periods of time, instead of the typical 30 plus minutes for a monitor to stabilize its brightness, chromaticity, and tone characteristics.
The VP278k-4k has a native static contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a relatively decent brightness of 350 cd/m2, with a response time of 7ms.
As for its connectivity, the ViewSonic VP2785-4K comes fully equipped. It has two HDMI 2.0 inputs, plus a DisplayPort, a Mini DisplayPort and a 3.mm audio output. In addition, the monitor incorporates five 3.1 USB ports, three type A, one type B and one type C. What’s more, HDCP 2.2 content protection is standard across all ports to provide secure 4K content playback for streaming and gaming. This last feature is pretty damn awesome when we compare its inclusion to the limitations of older 4K monitors from 2015 and before.
ViewSonic’s new VP2785-4K is already being sold at Amazon for a price of $1,218.00, free shipping included.
