Forza Motorsport 7 was unveiled at the Xbox Press Briefing recently and it is one of the first video games for the Microsoft console and its cousins to have baked-in native 4K and HDR graphics parameters.

The creators at Forza stated that “this is the most beautiful Forza game ever made”, and we think that is a safe statement to say -the game looks amazingly realistic on 4K UHD screens. Here is a glimpse of the 4K Gameplay Footage:

And you don’t want to miss the awesome trailer, also in 4K:

Forza 7 was built with Xbox One X (formerly known as Project Scorpio) and high-end Windows 10 PCs in mind, with heavy-duty hardware power which allows them to show off the game’s awesome graphics on either 1080p TVs or a state-of-the art 4K set (or 4K HDR PC monitor). The game is made with astonishing 4K textures, as well as advanced graphical techniques like ambient occlusion, artistic lighting models and improved shaders, which we can appreciate when we see the race in action with intense rain going on, expanding puddles, and limited visibility due to fog.

As we mention earlier, Forza Motorsport 7 is 4K and HDR native, and will run smoothly at 60 frames per second so players can fully immerse in the exhilarating danger that characterizes the franchise, as long as they’re playing the game on a device capable of really revving up its graphics and visuals to the beauty they’re designed to deliver.

Forza Motorsport 7 features more than 700 cars of decades of race history and you can personalize your character with some cool racing gear. You can also race across 30 famous destinations and 200 ribbons, where race conditions change every time you return to the track due to its Dynamic Race Weather.

Forza as a whole is also one of the largest communities for racing games in the world, and Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft are capitalizing that massive audience with their new cross-play platform where players can compete together seamlessly, whether they’re on Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, or Xbox One X.

The exhilarating video game hits store shelves on October 3rd, but you can pre-order it today from Amazon.com or Forza’s own website and as a bonus get some of the free features in the available bundles.
